How to Appeal Elective Credit
Transfer credits beyond Adams State's general education curriculum will be brought in on a student's transcript as elective.
If a student feels they should be awarded ASC credit for elective courses, they can do the following:
- Obtain a course description and/or syllabus from the previous college for the course needing the appeal.
- Submit the resources to the appropriate department chair for evaluation.
- Follow up with the Transfer Student Coordinator to ensure proper credit is applied.
